Big Data Consultant

JEMS datafactory is strengthening the Big Data hub to take on new projects with high added value. We
are looking for consultants with experience and mastery of Big Data, and data bases NoSQL,
Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, Kibana, Elastic Search etc.
Your Mission
You will integrate one of our Big Data project teams and will accompany our clients from diverse
business sectors in major projects.
You will be responsible for:
• Carrying out studies on possible solutions, Big Data architectures, expertise, audits and framing.
• Defining the BI & Big Data architecture and solutions and implement these projects.
• Assisting business and IT decision makers through “proof of concept” (use cases).
• Defining business cases on data sets and write the ensuing summaries/reports/summary documents.
• Participating in the technical execution, data processing and performance tests.
• Deploying and industrialise the Hadoop cluster, MapReduce processing, predictive analysis.
• Taking responsibility for project management including the understanding of the client needs.
• Taking responsibility for the monitoring of Big Data technology on the market.
Your profile
• Engineering school or university graduate and professional experience in decision-making subjects and
Big Data.
• You are technically confident with Big Data tools and development such as Spark, Scala, Java,
J2EE, Python. You master Hadoop.
• You are a good communicator and good at creative problem solving.
• You are disciplined, you have a curious mind, you love new technology and team-working.
• You are operational in English.
