Internship in Accounts Receivable Department – (GBS000074)

Location – Kraków

Your Impact:

As an Intern, you will be joining the in-house corporate accounting department in one of the best engineering companies. You will take first steps of your career under a supervision and with support of experienced Accounts Receivable Analysts

Specifically, you will:

  • Support your team in identifying process improvement opportunities

  • Prepare simple financial analysis and conduct ad hoc reporting, as needed

  • Research and process incoming wire transfers

  • Apply daily payments to client invoices

  • Respond to A/R questions

  • Contact other departments and other internal clients to resolve cross functional pending items

  • Support Accounts Receivable Department on everyday basis

  • Additionally, since AR function is currently organized within Project Accounting Department you will have a

  • chance to get familiar with project accounting activities under supervision and with support of Senior Project

  • Accountants. Those activities include monitoring project investment, reviewing client invoices, revenue

  • recognition and month-end reporting on project performance

Here’s What You’ll Need:

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Status of a student or graduate of Finance, Accounting, Controlling or Banking

  • Fluency in both written and spoken English

  • Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel

  • Availability to work 30+ hours per week

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in accounting or in an international work environment

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize the workload
