The Host Company This company’s main purpose is to offer a unique service that develops specialist software to process traditional 2D radiography images using accurate anatomical knowledge to create patient specific visualisations for clinicians. This innovative concept can be utilised by integrating these visualisations with the service of rapid prototyping, also known commonly as 3D printing. The company’s main initial focus will be in creating 3D prints for orthopaedic surgeons to use as pre-operative planning aids. Enabling the surgeon to pre-bend and prepare all necessary surgical equipment to treat complex trauma injuries well in advance of stepping foot into the operating theatre. Role This start-up company is looking for a bright student or recent graduate that is able to use and manage the website/platform and support the interaction between their clients’ needs and the potential of their 3D software. Zakres obowiązków

Tasks  Development of image processing scripts (2D & 3D);  Front and back end development and support of the company’s website/platform;  Develop and maintain software to convert 2D images to 3D images within a cloud based visualization environment;  Creation and maintenance of technical specifications and reports for a web-based software application;  Creation and execution of test scripts for web-based software application including RDBMS testing.

Wymagania

Personal Skills Essential:  Development experience using Angular JS;  Development experience using Python;  Development experience using SQL;  Strong problem solving skills;  Strong written English language skills;  Strong interpersonal skills. Desirable:  Interest in the medical field and knowledge of medical procedures and devices;  Knowledge of cloud hosting;  Previous professional experience.
