The Host Company This company is a global pioneer in the use of web-based solutions for digital pathology. Specialising in image management and the rapid analysis of tumor tissue, the company provides innovative software for use in drug discovery research, clinical sectors, biomarker analysis and education.

Zakres obowiązków

Tasks The successful candidate will work as part of the existing research and development team and tasks will include, but not be limited to:  The research and development of novel image analysis solutions for the automated identification of cancer.  Working as part of a team to build software applications from initial specification to final deployment and acceptance.  Rapid prototyping of new ideas.  Functional, performance and stress testing of the product.  Automating tests using testing tools and scripts.  Manual testing of the product.

Wymagania

Personal Skills Essential:  Student or recent graduate of a Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.  A strong academic record (equivalent to 2:1 standard or higher).  Knowledge of .Net  Good problem solver. Desirable:  Knowledge of the agile programming methodology and a continuous integration development environment.  Experience of writing and building unit and integration tests.
