This independent, non-profit, non-governmental organisation develops programmes around social cohesion, local community development and international sharing of knowledge and experiences, all within a culture of respect among all individuals and identities. Role To assist in the delivery of their digital fact-checking platform, in order to promote civic activism in Northern Ireland. The aim of this project is to have a better-informed public in regards to the political debate in Northern Ireland, based on facts rather than assumptions and misinformation. The right candidate will be highly motivated, enthusiastic, focused and self-driven, supporting the project partners and with compliance with main sponsor organizations for the project.

Zakres obowiązków

● Scan and record of different sources such as newspapers, television, radio and the Internet for news items, according to priorities set by the company ● Ensure the quality of submitted facts to be checked ● Provide news analysis on selected topics ● Liaise and assist article writers ● Disseminate published articles through multiple social media channels

Wymagania

Personal Skills ● Ability to browse and scan Internet stories quickly and retain information ● Identify relevant news stories and spot trending items ● Familiar with office software (e.g. Microsoft Office) ● Knowledge of how media works helpful
