Zakres obowiązków

Tasks  Project based research: a range of topics have been identified, candidate skills and aim will define which project(s) are taken forward, example projects are: o New map source analysis o Train trip identification o App autostart o Data visualisation  Data mining in support of customer, sales and market enquiry.  Reporting & presentation of findings as needed.

Wymagania

Personal Skills Essential:  Some experience in machine learning techniques and methods  R or Python ideally, or equivalent – and a willingness to adapt and adopt  Kean to learn and adopt new skills  Very good written and verbal English  Keen attention to detail  Ethical with particular sensitivity to customer personal data. Desirable:  Commercially aware, so that insight and focus of work is focused on delivering value.  A team player and equally happy to work alone.  Any “Big data”/noSQL technologies, e.g. AWS, Elastic Map Reduce, Spark, PostGreSQL  Geospatial analysis/geographic information system (GIS)

Role A Data Science role to work in the data science team on projects and ad-hoc tasks as required. The main focus will be to work with data captured from Smartphones to provide insight and understanding about driver performance & App performance.
